Women on high positions like Chscón can't have a maternity leave

This year in Spain general elections had been celebrate. PSOE, led by José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero hsve won it. The president have decided to do a governament team formed by five women and four men. It's the first time in the history that there are more women than men in the governament.
Carme Chacón have ocuped one of tha most important Ministery. The Ministery for Defense.
Nowadays she is pregnant and a lot of people say that women on high positons can't have a maternity leave.
In my opinion she must have the freedom of decided it but she wouldn't have a maternity leave because four months without Minister for Defense are a lot of months.
There is a lot of arguments to defensed it.
Chacón has a high position but she must has the same freedom of decided that the other women.
An argument to defensed that she wouldn't have the maternity leave is that her husbarnd can have the paternity leave.
In conclusion women who have a high position must have the same freedom to decided that other women but she would think in their job because it's very important
